A flexible venue for a Wedding near York

WSF

As a celebrant who has had the privilege of officiating a recent Wedding Ceremony at White Syke Fields (WSF), Sand Hutton, near York, I can confidently say that What makes WSF special is its flexibility. Whether couples choose to bring in suppliers or take the DIY route, WSF welcomes creativity with open arms. Couples can set up the day before and take things down the day after. By prior agreement, you can also involve your beloved pet. The space is theirs exclusively so they don’t risk bumping into another wedding party as can be the case in some venues.

Couples can choose to exchange their vows in the cosy embrace of the Piggery Barn, with its wonderfully mismatched chairs. After this, guests went to the Courtyard for confetti throwing and drinks. As well as around the barns, photos could be taken with the woodlands and lake as a backdrop.

The second barn, the Wheelhouse, is a large rustic space for a reception and evening celebrations. Here, guests can unwind, mingle, make use of the bar and dance the night away. While the barns don’t have kitchen facilities, the on-site wedding coordinator will I’m sure help with ideas for local suppliers who are more than willing to discuss catering options and help couples plan a celebration to remember.

I look forward to witnessing countless more love stories unfold in this flexible place. Of course, it’s also suitable for other events as well.
